Two Pembletons
I have built two Pembleton cars, a Brooklands and an SS three-wheeler. They are very similar other than at the rear.
Both cars have been toured extensively and often used as “drive to work” vehicles in in most weather conditions when there is no salt on the roads.
The Brooklands was completed in 2008 and has been used to travel to Gotland (Sweden) and the Pyrenees among other far flung European destinations.
The SS was much modified from the designer’s plans and made as a bullet tail without a spare wheel. There is a double-skin hatch giving access to the fuel filler and boot space.
It also has staggered bucket seats which tilt to allow access to the storage space behind.
This car has been driven to northern Germany and southern France on several occasions.
